--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Penn National E-News Issue 2025-011 February 24, 2025 PNCA MEMBERS [ONLY] MAY SUBMIT E-News items ONLINE at www.pnca.info/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------ NOTICES ------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- USING THE E-NEWS Everyone in Penn National may subscribe to the PN E-News. Those of us who are PNCA members may also submit ads, articles, or announcements for it. This is what you need to know: The latest TEN issues of the E-News are always available on the PNCA website, www.pnca.info, under "Quick Access". If you want to find an article from a recent issue ... * please DO NOT send me an email asking me to find it for you; * instead, go to the website and find it yourself. All of the article titles are included in the ten-latest list. If you're a PNCA member and you want to post something on the E-News, remember this: * The E-News is sent out at 10:00 a.m. every Monday. If you want something to appear in an issue, submit it the week before. I can and do send out a 'special' issue if there is urgency, but that is extra work for me and extra bother for nearly all of the 1400+ people who receive the E-News. * Please DO NOT simply send me an email asking me to publish something -- 98% of the time I will just tell you to go the PNCA website and submit it. If you do not submit it, I will have to go to the website and submit it. I have enough to do, just editing it. (smile) Subscribing/Unsubscribing Our mailing service adds an "unsubscribe" link to the bottom of each email it sends out. If you do not want to unsubscribe, please steer clear of that link! Way too many people have unsubscribed by that link accidentally, then asked me (sometimes weeks later), "Why am I not getting the E-News?" The other common way of getting unsubscribed is that your email server (gmail, comcast, aol, or whatever) guesses that the E-News email is spam or junk, and it sends a nasty response back to our mailing service. If you think that has happened, there's an article on the PNCA website ("Solve Missing Emails" under "Quick Access") that tells you how to "whitelist" the PNCA email senders. Keep smiling!
